Radcliffe is an associate at Temkin Wielga & Hardt where his practice focuses on complex environmental and commercial litigation, permitting and regulatory compliance, and site cleanup.  Radcliffe’s litigation experience includes representing clients in the pre-trial, trial, and appeal stages of environmental and commercial actions in federal and state courts and arbitration.

Prior to joining the firm, Radcliffe clerked for the Honorable Brook Hedge of the D.C. Superior Court on the complex civil litigation calendar.  During law school, he interned in both the Environment and Natural Resources and Environmental Crimes sections of the United States Department of Justice and at Region 5 of the Environmental Protection Agency. 

Radcliffe received his B.A. from the University of Florida in 2002, and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2005, where he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy.  Radcliffe is admitted to practice in Colorado and Virginia. 

Representative Matters

  • Assist major mining company in its regulatory and geotechnical review of worldwide mining operations.

  • Assist in representation of client in the litigation and cleanup activities of the Bunker Hill Mining & Metallurgical Superfund Site in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

  • Represent client in commercial litigation and appeal in federal courts. Prepared motions that resulted in the client's dismissal from the action as well as an award of over $100,000 in attorneys' fees and a permanent injunction preventing the plaintiffs from bringing similar lawsuits against the client in the future.

  • Represent an IT managed services company in Colorado arbitration regarding breach of contract claims.

  • Represent major mining company in commercial litigation in Colorado state court.

  • Prepared motions defending client against citizen suit brought in federal court in Colorado under the Clean Water Act and RCRA regarding alleged water contamination from historic mining operations in Colorado.

  • Assisted major mining company in its internal audit of international mining operations.

  • Prepared pleadings, motions, and written discovery defending client in CERCLA litigation arising out of historic gold mining operations in California.
